Anis Ul Hassan is another Young and Emerging Pakistani talent who is not only studying in one of the best universities of Islamabad but also singing and making his name in the field of media. He picked up the guitar when he was 12 and developed a profound interest in music and singing. He’s basically a self-taught vocalist and musician and so far his experiences has been awesome. Here’s his interview with Revolution Flame

What makes you unique from all?

I guess what makes me unique is that I appreciate all genres of music and not just the conventional Pop or Rock. Music is actually a dynamic phenomenon and you’ve got to taste a bit of everything.

Where did your achievements take you?

The world of music is like Pacific Ocean and I’ve just taken a plunge into it, I’ve a long way to go as I’m only 20. I’ve had the honor to sing with quite a number of singers  like Abrar ul Haq, Faakhir, Humera Arshad, Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat, Shehzad Roy, Waris Beg and Noori. I gained tremendous appreciation from all Pakistan LUMS OLYMPIAD 2012 singing competition and City School National Song competition. Recently I won the “T-SERIES INDIA JISM-2 Cover Competition” and have been awarded BEST COVER ON YOU TUBE, which was personally appreciated by Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt on Twitter.

Three things you can’t live without?

My guitar, Internet and hanging out with my buddies.

How would you arrange Fame, Money, Love and Respect?

Love, Respect, Fame and Money.

Are you kidding me???

Money, Money, Money…then Love, Respect Fame. Lol!

Any disappointments that you faced in your passion?

None really. I consider myself very lucky as I had the most understanding and supportive parents, teachers and friends.

Any inspirational event of your life?

When my father bought me my first guitar.

The harshest comment that you heard about yourself?

I don’t know about harsh but funny I hear plenty. Like this guy commented on my “Ye Jism” cover, that you’re ok but not better than ALI AZMAT. I laughed to myself that how could I even be compared to Ali Azmat, should be some kind of honour 🙂

Message for Youth?

Dream big. Because dreaming doesn’t hurt, and if you dream about something, you’re actually just a step away from achieving it.

Anything you want to say about the revolution flame?

Thumbs up guys, you’re doing a fabulous job in promoting and creating a platform for the youth of our nation, 10/10!
