I Volunteered – Happiness that never ends

August 1, 2013 - 1 minute read

The National Youth Assembly (NYA) launched their Feed Hungry Campaign in 2011 during Ramadan which was able to reach more than 50,000 people providing them with nutritious food.
This year NYA has a target to feed up to 3 lac poor people.

On 16th July 2013, we hosted a Congregational iftaar for more than 500 poor people in Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar under the platform of NYA by the name of Hope Campaign.

It was a very productive and dynamic day for us regarding our Hope Campaign. The young leaders of NYA and all the volunteers were truly devoted to serving the humanity and the needy ones. PTI’s MPA Yaseen khan khalil (adviser to C.M KPK) was also there and spent his valuable time with us in the iftaar.
It was the most energetic day and best ever iftaari of my life concluded with the prayers of hundreds of poor people of Peshawar because I brought smlies on the faces of some poor people. It was like a never ending happiness for me and my team and I got an internal satisfaction that day.
All the people present there appreciated this noble effort of the youth and said that this campaign should be continued not only in Ramadan but the whole year.
